Mr. Abani Kant Jha is a distinguished finance leader with a career spanning over 25 years across various sectors, including manufacturing, IT, retail, logistics, and energy. As a highly accomplished Group CFO, he brings a wealth of experience in strategic finance, global operations, and capital markets, having held key leadership roles in some of the world’s most respected organizations, such as Reliance Industries, Aditya Birla Chemicals (Thailand), Dubai Port World-CRRS, Easy Trip Planners, and B.C. Jindal Group. Currently, he serves as the Group CFO of Saatvik Group, a rapidly expanding solar manufacturing company, where he oversees financial strategy, risk management, and prepares for a transformative IPO, further solidifying Saatvik’s position in the global market.

Throughout his career, Mr. Jha has demonstrated an extraordinary ability to source and structure funds through complex debt and equity mechanisms. His accomplishments include leading IPOs and PE funding rounds, notably guiding Easy Trip Planners through an oversubscribed IPO and spearheading multiple high-stakes capital raises totaling hundreds of millions of dollars. He has successfully managed investor relationships with leading global financial institutions like HSBC, CITI, Barclays, and Wells Fargo, consistently attracting premier institutional investors.

With a proven track record in M&A and expansion, Mr. Jha has executed numerous cross-border acquisitions and orchestrated greenfield and brownfield projects across the USA, Germany, Italy, China, and India. His hands-on approach to ERP implementation, compliance, and working capital management has optimized operations, improved cash flows, and supported organizational scalability. His leadership was instrumental in expanding Jindal Films into North America, enhancing Aditya Birla Chemicals’ market presence in Southeast Asia, and transforming DP World’s commercial strategies in India.

A highly regarded figure in the financial community, Mr. Jha serves as Co-Chairman of ASSOCHAM’s National Council on CFOs, where he influences industry standards and best practices. His expertise in compliance and governance is reflected in his effective collaborations with Big Four auditors, international legal firms, and regulatory bodies. Additionally, his advisory work on Amira Foods’ NASDAQ listing and his strategic oversight in SAP and ERP implementations across his career demonstrate his forward-thinking approach to corporate finance and governance.

Mr. Jha’s qualifications include a Chartered Accountant certification from India, an MBA from Malaysia, and advanced management training from ISB, Hyderabad. He is also a certified WCM assessor and holds a diploma in International Taxation.
